Chris Weitz, the new director for New Moon, has officially announced that Taylor Lautner will be returning Jacob Black! Given Jacob’s characterization in the second book, I am sure that they will find a way to pull it off. New Moon is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2009.

As I’m sure you all know, the Twilight movie was released on November 21st. The film made an impressive $70 million on opening weekend. It is now official: they will be making New Moon into a movie!
